Rella:Cowan Selected to Help Launch Z-Bowl, a Family Entertainment Center
Durham, NC - Z-Bowl, a new family entertainment center currently being developed in downtown Mebane, N.C., recently selected Rella:Cowan, a strategic marketing and advertising firm, to help the company develop the Z-Bowl brand and market the new facility. Z-Bowl will feature high-tech AMF bowling lanes, a billiard room, top-notch arcade, party rooms, open-flame grill and open-hearth pizza oven, along with a variety of wines and craft beers on tap.
"This will be a unique destination that will offer a great time to anyone of any age," says Roger Camp, Manager of FEC Partners, LLC. "We're very excited to have Rella:Cowan as our partner to promote Z-Bowl. Working with such a talented and enthusiastic team energizes everyone."
With some insight from QubicaAMF's research, Rella:Cowan will help Z-Bowl analyze the market landscape and create its brand positioning and key messaging. QubicaAMF is the leading developer of bowling centers and bowling equipment and support, and Z-Bowl is a project of FEC Partners, LLC of Raleigh, licensed by QubicaAMF. The agency's launch plan also includes developing a Z-Bowl identity, interactive website, multi-media advertising campaign, direct mail program, media relations and special events. Rella:Cowan has partnered with PRStreet for Z-Bowl's public relations and event planning and CrossComm for website development.
The family entertainment center (FEC) concept has grown in popularity in recent years. Other similar FEC's around the South include Dave & Buster's, Jillian's and Frankie's Fun Park. What makes Z-Bowl different from those other FECs in North Carolina is the addition of AMF bowling. Downtown Mebane, N.C. is being revitalized, and Z-Bowl is located on the heart of the renaissance on the corner of Washington and 5th Streets.
"Working with a new venture like Z-Bowl really get us jazzed," says Domenick Rella, partner and creative director of Rella:Cowan. "Everyone involved with developing Z-Bowl has made smart decisions. We think they're creating a place that will appeal not only to the local people in Mebane, but the college hipsters and corporate crowd from RTP."
