Rella:Cowan Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary
Durham, NC - Rella:Cowan, a full-service marketing and advertising agency, recently celebrated a major milestone: five years in business. After its first two years, the agency moved from North Raleigh to larger space in downtown Durham, and the company has continued to expand its client list and staff.
"Durham has been very good to us, and we're thrilled to be working with clients around the state as well," says Margaret Cowan, partner and general manger of Rella:Cowan. "We took a chance opening a new agency at a time when the market was in a slump. Fortunately, it's paid off. Our hard-working team has helped us build a reputation for top-notch work, and we all really enjoy what we do."
The growing agency also recently named Amy Dillon as account executive. Dillon joined the agency in 2005. In her new role, she will manage a variety of agency accounts and be responsible for media planning and placement.
In January 2002, Domenick Rella and Margaret Cowan bought the Raleigh business of Pennsylvania-based agency EFH&O. Over the years, the agency has diversified its original client base to include a mix of B2B and B2C businesses. Rella:Cowan has served as the marketing partner for companies from Charlotte to Wilmington, including Fidelity Bank, Mulkey Engineers & Consultants, Kingsdown and The News and Observer.
Since moving to Durham, Rella:Cowan has provided marketing, design, media and advertising services to Durham-based clients including the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Durham Inc., Self-Help Community Credit Union, the City of Durham's Parrish Street Project, M&F Bank and Duke University.
