Rella:Cowan wins awards in creative competition

Durham, NC - Since opening its doors seven years ago, Rella:Cowan, a full-service strategic marketing and advertising firm, has continued to receive recognition in the annual American Advertising Federation's (AAF) local ADDY competition each year.

This year, Rella:Cowan took home awards for several accounts, including a Silver Award for its own iffytimes.com, a microsite that the agency created and launched to help provide tips and information on marketing during a recession. Rella:Cowan also won a Gold Award for illustrative work that was used in a print advertising campaign and collateral for Health Information Associates, a client based in South Carolina. And the agency won a Bronze Award for a "what to expect" brochure created for Pulley Watson, a Durham-based law firm.

Rella:Cowan received the awards at the 2009 AAF-RDU ADDY Awards ceremony held March 5 at the Durham Performing Arts Center. The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry's largest and most rigorous advertising competition. The ADDY® Awards recognize creative excellence in broadcast, out-of-house, public service, print and interactive categories.
